Online store software - Shopify

Our webshop runs on the Shopify software platform. We share personal data that you make available for our services with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose.

Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy.
Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information for the use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group in order to further improve the service.

Payment Processors - Shopify

We use the Shopify payment platform to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. Shopify processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
Shopify reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties in this context.
All the above-mentioned guarantees for the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify's services for which they engage third parties. Shopify does not store your data longer than permitted by law.

We also collect the reviews via the Shopify platform, which is subject to the same protection of your personal data.

Shipping and Logistics - PostNL

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have the package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with this sender. PostNL uses this data to execute the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

External sales channels - Marktplaats.nl

We also sell our products via the Marktplaats.nl platform.
If you place an order via this platform, Marktplaats.nl will share your order and personal data with us.
We use this information to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.

Automatically collected data

Data that our website collects automatically serves the purpose of our
to further improve services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations

In some cases, EasyMarcs® may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.

Bookkeeping

Furthermore, we do not share your data with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy by virtue of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Retention periods

We keep your data as long as you are a customer of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services.

However, employees no longer have access to your data.
